I have never used an item like this before. I am really curious to know if this item can really help save soap. Can I get a response? If nothing else, this will help keep the shower/tub area clean from melting soap but will it really save the soap?

This pampering massage soap saver would really be a great addition to a spa basket. Baskets can be so impersonal when you buy them but if you take the time to create your own, they can be hand-crafted for the recipient. For that friend that loves to be pampered, this would be a great piece to place in that basket. Make it two, because someone in the house will probably want one of them also.

This is my new favorite and the only soap saver pattern I like now. Ive tried several others and have hated how they turned out. I cant wait to get my specialty homemade soaps in it to use. This is going to make a perfect add on to my spa basket collection. So glad to find this now.

I saw this project and immediately told my husband to pick out his favorite color of cotton yarn, because I was making one of these for him right now! He chose a variegated turquoise Sugar n Cream and it worked up just perfectly. He hates washcloths, and is forever dropping the soap into the shower. I made the drawstrings a little longer so he could hang it up when hes not actually using it.

This looks so luxe and fancy! I am loving the sea greens and ocean blues colors. It should be known that Moogly used the I Love This Cotton and the Lily Sugar N Cream. The pattern notes above do not specify that it is a cotton yarn. I could tell what it was by looking at the picture! Awesome gift idea!!

The soap sac is a great idea to both help you save soap and to help you exfoliate the dead dry skin cells from your body that you need to do to keep it looking young and to avoid wrinkles. This is a super easy project that can be made using some left over yarns and very little time.

Hey Hippie Chick! My millennial children have been telling me that I need to get rid of my exfoliating soap because of the plastic micro beads in it that is bad for the environment. Maybe this would be a good substitute! I'm glad it's an easy project. I think I will give this one a try.

I need something to hold my soap in our bathrooms. My new home does not have built-in soap holders. So, I am going to make this pattern with some alterations. I am going to line the soap holder so my soap won't melt or stick to the holder. Thanks for the pattern.

Made one for myself, after using, I hung from the faucet to dry, all it did was melt the expensive soap, took forever to dry in AZ, ended up throwing it away. Good idea that doesn't quite work as I wanted.

I made two, one for myself and one for hubby. It turned into a big ball/knot of soapy yarn. Hubby's also. Yes, we hung them to dry.

I made one of these in the exact yarn and color of the one on the bottom in the above picture. When I put soap in it and started to use it, I turnd blue. It ran blue all over my skin. I thought the yarn was not suppose to do that. I never made another one, but if I do, I will have to make it white I guess. Not sure what colors will or will not run with bath water!

Love this pattern. I can get 3 of them out of one smallball of peaches n creme yarns... make my own soap...and now I am giving these away with my soap. They are great, easy, and fun. I'v shared the pattern with others I know who crochet and they have all love it too. Well worth the time. I think I actually have it memorized now. I do add a 2nd row of HDC only the top.
