Butterfly Baby Sweater
If you have a few hours to spare, make this Butterfly Baby Sweater. It's an easy crochet pattern that only takes about six hours to complete. The body of the sweater is made in one piece from the top down and the sleeves and collar are added later. If you look closely, you can see the cute butterflies in the pattern, which makes this cute crocheted sweater the perfect springtime pattern for your baby girl. I enjoy making baby items and always looking for very frilly little girl items. I just found one that is a must make with this darling Butterfly sweater. To have a sweet little hat that matches is a real bonus. I won't have to dig to find something in same or close stitch pattern. I always try to make a couple to dontate to mama's at the hospital that have nothing special to take their little angel home in.

I like this pattern! Too cute and the colors are great. This would come in handy for the winter months and you wouldn't have to worry about your baby being too cold. I think it would make a fun gift for a new mother as well. This will be on my to do crochet list for sure!

Hi, I'm very new to crocheting, in fact this is my first baby sweater in row 3 of the top part of the sweater it says to (work 1 bpdc "around" the next fpdc)? I don't understand what it means when it says "around the next"? If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate any and all help. Thanks!

I love these patterns, I recently finished the pattern posted last week from this site, it was titled "Cat's one-piece wonder" baby sweater and booties. They are so easy to follow and work up fantastic. Keep up the GREAT PATTERNS. The girls recieving them are thrilled. I donate them to local hospital OB ward. Thanks again. Dotty

I am stuck on this pattern. It's such a beautiful sweater and I really want to finish it. The trouble for me is in row 2 of the Pattern Rows. Do you have any closeup pics of the pattern portion of this sweater? Thank you for any help you can give me! Blessings!

Having the same problem I think. Row 2 of the pattern row makes no sense because it calls for you to work in dc's that are not there
