Lamb Bonnet
A Lamb Bonnet will be adorable on a baby for the Easter parade. This Easter crochet pattern is a simple rectangle sewn into shape. Although it is sized for newborns, it can be adjusted for older babies. Although this is a festive hat to wear on Easter, this free crochet hat pattern would also be great for a child's Halloween costume.

Its hard to believe that something this adorable could be so simple to make. Although the original design is for newborns, the designer also gives the beginning chain lengths for other sizes through toddler. Since the bonnet is worked flat and then sewn up to make the back seam, it would be easy to adjust this to any size necessary. Check out some of her other patterns, too.

When I was little I had a stuffed lamb named Tobey. When my daughter announced her pregnancy she waited until they knew the babys gender and sent everyone Christmas cards with her ultrasound and the name Tobias Richard Vincent. As I was reminded of my little lamb, so Tobias became my new little lamb. I made this hat for him. It worked up beautifully and it looks wonderful. It also kept my little guys head nice and toasty! Thank you for a beautiful pattern!
