This Bullion Stitch Butterfly Beanie is a such a cute project that is perfect for beginners. The easy-to-follow tutorial shows you how to do a bullion stitch if you are unfamiliar, as well as how to attach the cute butterfly to the beanie. It comes in newborn, 3 month, and 6 month sizes, so it would make a perfect baby shower gift to give or to keep for yourself. This is a simple little hat, and thankfully, the only time the Bullion stitch is used is for the accent round and the butterfly trim (which I am definitely keeping). I would probably give up in frustration if the entire hat were done up in the Bullion. Besides being a yarn eater, this stitch is hard for me to work due to my own dexterity issues.
