V-Stitch Rainbow Crochet Blanket Pattern

The V-stitch rainbow of this crochet blanket pattern gives this project a zig-zag stripe that is visually stunning but still easy to tackle. The easy crochet afghan pattern has all sorts of textures going on, from the ribbed rows to the clean and tidy edges. The gray background is also a nice reinterpretation of the typical brightness of a rainbow pattern, making it a subdued and classy option for any baby. However, this design gives you plenty of room to combine whatever colors you wish to tailor it to be a personal baby shower gift.

I did not know the term rainbow baby before reading about it on the bloggers page. Now, I know. I have made a v-stitch blanket before and it was so fun to crochet, but I love how this one is done with the colored stripes and gray, set off by the white. The crochet is so beautiful and even and the colors lovely.

I like the look of this blanket. I would like to make it for adults. Can you adjust this pattern for me for 60 inches x 90 inches

When you want to adjust ...the width, you make a chain till you reach 10 inches ..If example in this 10 inches chain you have (23 stitches) you multiply by 6 to have your 60 inches )

and continue till the length you need ...

Right timing for this V-Stitch Rainbow Crochet Blanket Pattern because I just got a new supply of gray yarn. Initially purchased for a lacey scarf but I changed my mind. Good thing, as this baby blanket pattern will be the best pattern for my next baby blanket project. Perfect for a baby shower present. Mom will be very pleased.

I have such an appreciation for fiber art. It is such a fun and and unexpected art form that people don't participate in enough, in my opinion. A project like this, which is a baby blanket, could easily be made into an adult sized afghan, using all the same colors of yarn! It IS a gender neutral blanket that is for sure. My teen would love this for his room.

I love using the v-stitch, so when I saw this pattern I jumped at the chance to make it. I always have small amounts of yarn and I look for projects that can use that up with. And it looks great with the dark grey, against the bright colors. When you don't know the gender of the baby before it's born, this is a great go-to pattern. Plus I get to use the v-stitch with is more fun than just a double crochet!

I too had never heard to term rainbow baby before reading it here. This is a very nice gender-neutral blanket for any baby shower or baby gift with all of the bright colors. The v-stitch is a very simple stitch to use and seems to work up pretty quickly. I am using it now in a tunic top.

This is a wonderful blanket with a hope filled message! I always learn something new on here and this time it was the term "rainbow baby". I was totally unfamiliar with it. I like the variety in textures and the way you could totally color customize it to make it your own special gift. Very well done )

This is a very beautiful V-Stitch Rainbow Crochet Blanket Pattern. The colors go well together and looks great! I love the pattern that is very well written and a easy read. I can see this one coming together quickly and I'll be making this one! Thank you so much for this free crochet pattern.
