Tons of Texture Chevron Baby Blanket
"Chunky, soft, ridges, and popcorn… this baby blanket is filled with textures that tiny fingers will love. Finished size is approximately 28”X36”. To make a wider blanket, simply increase the starting chain, or to make it longer repeat the rows. Pattern combines half double crochet stitches, single crochet stitches, popcorn stitches, and "back loop only" stitches to achieve a variety of texture. That, paired with soft and cozy yarns makes it a great gift for baby showers, new babies, and/or lapghans."
Crochet HookK/10.5 or 6.5 mm hook

Of course, the main attraction here is all the different textures that are created by the changing stitches in each block of rows. Wow! This baby blanket it very impressive! I am going to make this for MYSELF! Not to mention, the chevron is a really fun stitch to make.

This is very pretty. The chevron pattern was the second one I ever used. I started with the granny and then found out how easy the chevron was. Only it was called the rubble stitch. I made them for all of my family members.they loved them. It's easy and makes up quickly.

This is not only a perfect blanket for a baby it would be great with dementia patients. The Ton of Texture blanket is perfect for hands to touch and feel. Textures has a calming effect for hands to feels and brains to think ) The pattern is well written and I think easy to understand. Great way for a beginnger to advance their skills. You never know what you can do until you try. What can happen other than you have to FROG it.

Oh my Gosh, I love this Tons of Texture Chevron Baby Blanket. The different stitches used are great and the simple back loop only crochet stitch with the popcorn stitch makes for a lovely textured blanket. Not only will this be great for a baby but for a older adult as well. The written pattern is easy to understand and is well written. This blanket pattern will be a great gift. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.
