    Instructions

    Notes: Beginning chain of each row counts as a stitch.

    Abbreviations: 

    • ch = chain
    • dc = double crochet
    • dc3tog = double crochet three together
    • st = stitch

    Special Stitch: 

    • dc3tog - Yarn over, insert hook into first stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, insert hook into second stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, insert hook into third stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining 4 loops
    Note: Start with cream color yarn, switch color every two rows.

    1. Row 1: Ch 116, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 5 st, dc3tog, dc in next 5 st, *(dc, ch 1, dc) into next st, dc in next 5 st, dc3tog, dc in next 5 st, repeat from *across, 2 dc in last st, turn

    2. Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as a stitch), dc in same sp as ch 3, dc in next 5 st, dc3tog, dc in next 5 st, *(dc, ch 1, dc) into ch 1 sp from previous row, dc in next 5 st, dc3tog, dc in next 5 st, repeat from * across, 2dc in last st, turn

    3. Repeat Row 2 until blanket measures 35” or desired length.
