A Maltese Cross is not the motif I usually associate with a baby blanket. Because the designer decided to work the Cross portion in Popcorn stitches, this project takes a LOT of yarn so plan accordingly. Shes also posted a link to an instructional video for this exact project. This is a fiddly project, so if you want to work this up, do watch the video first. Its about 50 minutes long, but its worth it.
