This amazing blanket is actually based on the colors of My Little Ponys Rainbow Dash, so it doesnt quite contain all the colors of the rainbow. So I added a bright green then pumpkin orange row right after the purple, and before repeating the first color (aqua). I also extended the starting chain to 101 instead of 91. This pattern will work as long as you have an odd number of stitches. This one is headed for the new baby due in October!

This pattern is so pretty and the stitching is really unique. After several beginner and easy level patterns I think I am ready to tackle this intermediate pattern. I'll probably make it in pastels for my cousin's baby.

This is an incredibly easy pattern so I don't know why it's listed as Intermediate. You alternate a long Spike Stitch with a Single Crochet for the first row, then return with all Double Crochet. Easy peasy.

Link works. Issue must have been resolved for those that could not access it. Love the Rainbow Dash baby blanket. It is absolutely adorable. The designer it very hands on and helpful with all questions. This blanket is also very easy to customize to the size you want if you dont want the default size shown of 36 inches. Will make a great baby shower gift or maybe I will get motivated and make a really big one for myself.

How would you score this pattern on the difficulty scale of 1 being total beginner and 10 being a pattern for someone who has been crocheting for 20 years? This is a beautiful pattern but sometimes I shy away from anything other than easy when I need a quick baby gift for someone.
