Martha Stewart Crafts Mambo Yarn by Lion Brand is one of the most unique and interesting yarns I have come across. I had the opportunity to work with it and I was stunned. This yarn is 75% Acrylic, 7% Wool, 9% Nylon, 6% Viscose, and 3% Angora making it super bulky. It comes in small skeins allowing you to make smaller projects with it. There are so many possibilities for crafting with this Mambo yarn. You can crochet it, knot it or wrap it; make jewelry, turn it into shapes or add it as an edging to an already existing project. Because this yarn is so bulky it makes it easy to work with when crocheting or knitting.
If you're bold, funky and want to make something that no one else has, then you will love this yarn. Lion Brand also provides multiple free crochet patterns to make with this yarn. Again, you can knit with it or crochet with it and it comes in seven unique colors. I personally like this yarn because it allows you to get creative with it. I made a crocheted bangle with this Zebra Mambo color and it took about two minutes to make; all I had to do was chain 10 and weave in the ends, it's that easy to work with! You'll really like the bulkiness you get out of your projects. So go ahead, grab a skein or two, or many, of Zebra Mambo and make something unique. Use your creative juices and make a rug or a purse! Design your very own jewelry collection!
