Bummer! This pattern is better than it was, but the snowflake is still missing a round. An experienced crocheter can probably figure out how to add it, but it's still an incomplete pattern. =(

Could this be taken off your list? It hasn't been fixed since the original problems. It's very cute, but it is causing frustration for those trying it.

I am looking for a pattern I saw on here. It may be a pot holder or an afghan square that looks like the petals of the flowers are made from crocodile tears.

This is badly written. A whole round has been left out according to the picture in the snowflake. I didn't even try the potholder part of the pattern because a lot is obviously left unwritten! The picture looks great and I would like to make it, but I can't as written.

I have been crocheting for over 45 years and this is the most confusing pattern I have ever seen--I know something must be missing in the instructions isnt It?

I agree with sliderscg. This pattern makes no sense whatsoever. I have 76 sc, then, what, for 19 rows crochet 18 stitches? It says for rows 2-19 sc first 18 stitches and leave the rest unworked. Say what? No folding illustration is shown or provided. Granny3, if I continue without increasing around the skinny oval of 76 sc, then what?? Am I crocheting a narrow tube with the bottom end closed? I would SO like to make this but am royally frustrated. And no, editors, I don't have time or patience to contact the site and find the original instructions. I have been crocheting off and on for almost 50 years, too -)br br Granny3, if you can help... let us know! Thanks. I am in a hurry because a Midwest winter is depressing wo holiday decorations and my daughter adores winter-themed stuff. And I have the blue and white thread on hand!

about the potholder with the snowflake - I have made this potholder for years and I love it. Rows 2 -19 are worked with no increases, when row 19 is finished you will have a pocket (open at the top) just fold in sides to the center and close, either with a slip stitch or yarn needle. Hope this helps.

Hi sliderscg, You would have to contact the original pattern maker of this pot holder as we just link to it. You can probably reach them at http://www.hgtv.com/contact-us/package/index.html Thanks!

This is a continuation to my first comment. I went on to make the snowflake and it seems that the next to last row is missing from the pattern. I took it apart several times and finally put in the "next to last row" so that it looked the same as the picture. I would really like to see this pattern clarified so that I can make this potholder.

I have been crocheting for over 50 years and I am confused by the instructions for rnds 2-19. Also, the pattern said to fold according to the illustration and there is no illustration for folding. If that illustration was available, I think I would be able to figure out what is meant for rnds 2-19.
