Beautiful. I guess I have never seen a long vest before. I guess I would have called this a duster before I would have called it a vest. At any rate, this is a beautiful piece. I really love the large collar feature and how easily this could be doubled and secured with a belt if wanted.

This sandstorm ripples vest is just stunning. The colors used here a really appropriate for fall and could easily be worn during winter. Being an intermediate pattern and pictures provided I just do not have the courage to try. I see the designer does offer for sale though.

I am familiar with working with a nice and lightweight DK weight yarn along with a LARGER hook, like an "I" hook. It gives you a really nice and stretchy, bouncy, and open weave finished look. I love this aspect of this particular pattern. It reminds me of a canyon in the summertime, late in the day. Beautiful work!

There must be a shortage of new designers because I keep seeing the same ones featured on your site. This makes me want to get motivated and create and design a pattern of my own so that I might get featured on here one day. Maz is one of the great ones and I love all of her pieces including this one.

This is absolutely gorgeous and I saved it. I am always being asked to make dusters or long vests. I am old enough to remember when Bea Arthur's character, Maude introduced long vests to women. They are great on taller or large ladies. This is going to be one of my favorites!

This is a beautiful piece. The colors are fabulous and the pattern is stunning.
