I am an excellent crocheter but I found i was not able to follow the directions on this pattern. They are not clear or easy to follow. Guess for this one, I need an instructional video because I tried and tried but the directions are to confusing. I would rate this a poor instructional pattern

Hey Cindy 124 did you ever get any help with this pattern. I know others say it is perfectly clear, but I'm a few bubbles short of plumb.

Funny this pattern should pop up now. It's been my current project and I'm almost done with it. I found that the written instructions and the chart complimented one another actually. The long version gets the pattern established in your head, then once you get the gist of it a quick glance at the chart is all you need if you lose your place. One tip - use a solid color! This might be a no brainer, but I used a fading color and the motifs don't line up the way they should :P

I agree w/ MMCM to much instruction . A chart showing you the stitches to use would be easier. Also, use the color you like. I would like to make this shawl for the coming up holidays.

I love this shawl just as it is, if only I had the time to make it.

I think it's beautiful, but I'd make it some other color besides pink.

Beautiful! I will make this, but I would like to also make one like this with an interlocking clover design in granny squares. I made one many, many years ago but can no longer find the pattern.

Even though there are very good pictures and a lot of effort was put on instructions, why not make a clear DRAWING with stitches ? Unfortunately the stitches chart is not good at all, which is what I would have used for knitting this beautiful shawl.
