This is a really pretty project. Im not particularly fond of metallic yarn, but I love how the stitch pattern on each row makes it a lovely, airy garment. I had some pastel cake yarn I wanted to try, so I used that with a larger 6 mm hook instead of the recommended 4.25 mm. If anything, it added to the open texture of the scarf. It looks a lot like Broomstick Lace but without having to use an extra piece of hardware.

This scarf looks like it is a lot of fun to make. It looks like it would work up quickly with that stitch and it is a very pretty scarf. The metallic yarn gives it a touch of glitter and sparkle. It is a beautiful pattern. I have worked with other projects using the v-stitch and it is a pretty simple and easy stitch.

Ive made about 5 of these for gifts and I used sock yarn of all things. They came out beautifully lacey & light & could be styled in many different ways. They can perk up any outfit.

Came out gorgeous. Took a bit to figure out, but now I love this pattern. I made the scarf using a #4/Medium weight (3.5 oz in 180 yds) soft worsted acrylic yarn with an I crochet hook. My tip: keep the loops a fairly uniform length & use a medium or lighter weight yarn.

I made one last year, and my SIL loved it. The yarn I used was also shimmery. I love fast, easy projects that produce fantastic results. It looked like I worked harder on it than I actually did.

Made one for my sister's birthday and she loved it! It is a nice scarf to double up and isn't overly bulky. I will be making many more. Love the design!

@maggiemine42 4250540, Of course you can print the pattern! To do so, please follow the link that says "click here for crochet pattern." Once you are at the site with the pattern, highlight the text, then right-click on it. You'll get a window that gives you the option to "copy." Do that, and then paste the text into a word document. You should be able print that document that way. --Editor of AllFreeCrochet
