The link to the pattern does not work. How can I get the pattern?

Hi wheelerah 1206239, unfortunately the blog is no longer active, but I have updated the link to an archived version of the webpage where the full pattern is available. I'm sorry for the inconvenience! - Laura, editor of AllFreeCrochet

One of the commenters said that if this were really a Greek scarf, it would be blue and white. Im always intrigued with how designers and editors come up with names but this one was a no brainer for me. At least on the computer, the color looks like that Green Goddess salad dressing that is all but impossible to find on store shelves any more.

This is the perfect pattern I've been looking for! I love the thinness and drape ability of it. As a large busted individual I wanted something to make that would be very fashionable and yet not add to part of my shape. This will do it! No matter what color you make it up in it will be beautiful! I would be interested to here from any of you who make this up and specifically what yarn you used and if you were satisfied with the results.

A great accessorizing scarf. The instructions list the yarns required to complete this project but some of the yarn indicates that is has been discontinued so you will have to search around to find it online. This scarf is worked with a very large hook, a size P hook. This will allow a larger opening between stitches which will give it a light and airy look and feel.

Kudos to the designer of this beautiful pattern. It looks so light it seems like gossamer! I have a Greek Goddess friend with a birthday coming up and I know she is going to love this in her favorite color. Sadly Classic Elite Yarns are not available here in South Africa but my wonderful local yarn store always manages to find me a great substitute. Once I have made the scarf for Heather I am definitely going to make myself one too.

Aww, I am a little bit disappointed in seeing what the Greek Goddess summer scarf looks like! I will give props to the pattern itself which is nicely written. But I really expected to see some kind of blue and white Mediterranean looking piece. This scarf really looks rather plain and very understated to be worn by a goddess. The Spa by Caron Naturals would be a nice choice yarn.

Perfect for the summer. It's very lightweight and is very airy. Personally not very much preferred but who cares many people would probably like it. Here's the link to the pattern http//www.handmadebyannepotter.com/itanos-summer-s == carf-crochet-pattern/

So pretty - can't wait to make this!

I so agree with you JennyBee! This scarf is so pretty and elegant, I could think of many occasions this would be the perfect accessory to compliment an outfit or keep warm while outdoors. The pattern seems quite simple, I might start working on these in different colors to give as Christmas gifts for everyone!

If this were truly Greek,it would be in blue and white, not green!
