Very appropriate name, Easy Peasy Poncho because this is very easy to make starting from the neck area down to the seams. You can change the color combination if you like. Personally, I don't like the colors of this sample pattern so I'd like to make my own combo in case I start doing this.

I am always happy to find patterns that allow me to use up some of the small balls of yarn I always have from other projects. I plan on making this pattern several times, and also donating some ponchos to a local charity. I even plan on making a matching set for my grandaughter and her favourite doll!

Every month some friends and I get together and crochet knee rugs and wraps for a local chronic care facility. One of the elderly ladies recently asked very sweetly if we could make her a poncho and I think this one is perfect! The stripes will also help use up left over yarns from previous projects so it is going to be a double winner and I am sure there will be further requests once she has her gorgeous new poncho, lol!

I made this for my two and a half year old granddaughter for Christmas. I a Christmas popcorn tin full of balls of left over yarn and was delighted to find a pattern l really liked to use them with. My granddaughter's favorite color is yellow so I chose colors that would nicely. We love the result. My granddaughter loves to play dress up and likes things she can twirl and flare out. Not only does she get to it to keep warm but now she has a new item to dress up in. I am including a photo.
