I love Vannas Choice yarns. This pillow would look great worked up in any color combination and Vannas Choice has a lot to choose from. It is also a very durable yarn and holds it shape. This pillow pattern is rated intermediate, but dont let that intimate you it is actually very easy to make.

I agree with the previous poster about the challenging part being the joining together of the squares. It's a little tedious but must be done. Now, the squares themselves are actually pretty simple in double crochets. I love her choice of color theme, too. At first I did not even notice the buttons on the front. This pattern is a keeper!

This pattern is categorised as Intermediate, but this is because sewing together squares can prove to be a bit tricky. However there are links to tutorials explaining how to create an invisible seam and also on making your own blocking station. Making a cushion cover is a great way to introduce you to the art of creating with crochet squares.
