Can I get you a slice of toast? This is cute. I think I will make this for my niece. She has the flair for the unusual and I would rank this butter me up crochet purse as being quirky. You can go for the whole wheat or white bread. I like the whole wheat version like this darker bread.

I love to happen upon food projects. Some times they are a little over the top but this one is not so bad. I can see me using this for a get around purse when I need just the essential. It would not hold mush else and making it any larger would make it look "fake". I think this is cute.

I happen to think it is adorable. As soon as I saw the picture, I wanted to see the instructions. "Haters gonna' hate" but I will be making it today as a hot mat to give to a special toast lovin' girl tomorrow morning. Merry Christmas 2012 and Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year 2013. Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is mystery, and Today is a gift .. which is why it's called The Present. God Bless!

I agree. Why would anyone want a purse that looked like toast. Go to Lion Brand Yarn, they have a great purse pattern.

I don't know anyone who would spend precious time making this. What do you do with it?? I prefer to make beautiful and useful items.
