I thought this hat looked familiar. I am sure that I have made the original adult version of the stacked shells hat years ago. Either that, or it was a hat that looked exactly the same. It IS EASY to do, not difficult in the least bit. And I tell you the Caron Simply Soft is the way to go!

A fun hat to make for the little one. I like how the stacking shells form a diamond shaped lace pattern all over the hat. But what I especially like is the band made of several single crochet rows at the end that make the slouchy hat fit nicely around the head so that it doesn't fall off.
