TO ALL ATTEMPTING THIS PATTERN If you visit the actual web site containing the pattern, someone made a comment that this pattern was written in UK terminology not USA terminology. That may help you in creating a correctly sized hat. IF this is truly the case, I would appreciate it if ALLFREECROCHET would make a note to this effect in the details above on the pattern. Thank you.

PLEASE, repost the pattern instructions for the Peek-A-Boo Flower Hat BUT FOR ADULTS!!! These seem to be the instructions for baby size hat.

Have been trying to get the pattern for the quick flower hat it keep tellin me website nor avaliable is there any other pattern similer fror free. Thank you

Thanks for the ALLFREECROCHET videos on Youtube. They have helped me make projects featured here!

so sad, waiting 10 sheets of paper for a two page instruction

Try looking your For the book at YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY. Most libraries have a photocopier you can use to make copies of the pattern. It is legal to make copies for personal use.

When your print page comes up just put in the page numbers you want to print...like if it shows 10 pages...type in that you want 1-3 pages printed...took me awhile to learn this too!

The Author of the book "Get Hooked Again" is Kim Werker and the book is still available on Amazon, but the used price is currently $40.12.

I am very new to crocheting and am trying this hat. I am lost on row four after parenthesis it says 3 times. I'm not sure what is 3 times. I okay with the stitches as I can get help on line to view them, but I am struggling with pattern directions in general. Please help.

There should be a glossary of crochet terms here. I haven't bothered to look. Repeat the pattern in the parenthesis 3 times.

I had fun making this hat. It was "sew easy"... Now I would like to make the shrug that the model is wearing. Where can I find the pattern?

Teresa, the shrug is in the book "Get Hooked Again". New, the book is available at Amazon for $47, new and used category, starting at $7.94. Here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0823051102/crochetmemaga-20/

i love this site i can see a lot to learn here

The hat is adorable and I have already made. Please send the shrug instructions. Thanks, I really enjoy the ability to come to the computer and get some patterns. Arlene Connell

On the pattern page it refers to a Peek-A-Boo Shrug- it is in a book no longer in print. I think it was titled Get Hooked Again.

What is the girl in this picture wearing on her shoulders? Is it a shawl or a scarf os a sweater? I would like to see it. It looks pretty.

I think I put my reply in the wrong box. Sorry, It is a Peek A Boo Shrug from a book no longer in print = Get Hooked Again, I think is the title.

I can't remember how many extra rows I added the first time but after my first addition to a hat, I quit counting rows and instead measured the head of the person I was making a hat for and just measured as each new row was added until I had enough. That worked well for me. I measured from the center top of the head to the spot where we thought the hat should end. Is that clear or did I just confuse you and myself???

I have made several hats using this pattern but find that 8 rows plus the edging is not enough. Did I miss some rows or are our heads longer? Love the pattern; it is so easy.

i also noticed that, how many rows did you end up using?

BEAUTIFUL HAT!! Works up quickly and looks so pretty...i used Bernat super soft yarn and made one for baby and big sister...:)

if this patern is free why can't I get the directions on how to make it. It looks easy

You should be able to access the pattern by clicking the link that says, "Click here for crochet pattern." Hope this helps!

I am a beginner and have taught myself thru tutorials on the Internet. I've made this hat a couple of times and had to add many, many rows to make it big enough. Am I doing something wrong? Also, how could I change the pattern so it would fit a 4 year old littlel girl?? Thanks for your help! Lorraine

@ nancyau45 8337037, To print, go to the page and highlight the text, then right-click on it. You'll get a window that gives you the option to "copy." Do that, and then paste the text into a word document. You should be able print that document that way. --Editors of AllFreeCrochet

I tried several times to print this pattern but it first printed nothing but black ink and wasted 5 pages of paper! I've tried to copy and paste but it too wouldn't print out properly! I don't have any problems printing from All Free Crochet at all. From what i've read from those who have attempted to crochet this peek-a-boo hat i shouldn't waste my time with this project anyway. I love this hat and it's unfortunate that i can't print the pattern but i'm sure i'll find a pattern just like this one and won't have a problem with printing, etc. Maybe the person who wrote this pattern will fix the errors that we've encountered.

Where can I get the pattern for the sweater the girl is wearing in the photo?

@psjones32 8402063: You can access saved crochet patterns using the "My Crochet Patterns" tab in the top left corner of the page. Hope this helps!

How do you bring up your saved patterns if you happen not to have a letter from Free Crochet format in your mail when pattern is wanted. Thanks

Like the hat, I am going to crochet it and add it to my charity box for ACH in Little Rock, Arkansas. I think it would be a good hat for our area, it don't usually get real cold here. I don't think they should call it a summer hat it seems to me more of a spring or fall hat.

@ deerbaby: You can get the pattern for the shrug in the book "Get Hooked Again" by Kim Werker. Hope this helps! -- Editors of AllFreeCrochet

where can i get the pattern of the shawl of the girl in the photo? please help. Thanks.

When you want to print the pattern without all the other stuff, you can either chose which page numbers you want to print, so not all 8 get printed and waste paper and ink. Or copy and paste the information needed, including the designers name And please remember, you can print for you only, refer anyone else if the want the pattern, that is what keeps the patterns free

I attempted to print the instructions for this quick flower hat and got 8 pages of comments. No instructions. HELP. grgrape24@yahoo.com

This is a fun hat for kids, and grown-ups alike. I can just see myself wearing this one. The colors just pop, (devine).
