While you're decking the halls for the holidays, carry the merriment over to your crochet hat patterns, too! Shaped like the classic round ornament, these easy crochet beanies are such a cute and lively way to show your Christmas spirit. With the silver cap on top for a hook, this design really captures the essence of one of the best parts of Christmas—gathering with your family to decorate the tree. Done up in simple double crochets, this little novelty beanie hat is adorable. If you are like the poster below, and thinking there is something missing , I have an idea. What about some easy surface crochet to create criss-cross stars all along the center line, like a real vintage ornament would have? I think that would be cute!

This is an interesting idea for a hat, but it just looks too plain. It needs something else, but I cant figure out what it might be right now. I do like the hanger attachment at the top as it makes the overall effect look real. Maybe Ill look at some patterns for ornament covers to see if any inspiration strikes.

This will make such a cute hat for the grand kids. I have four of them so I need to get buy and pick out four different colors to use. They will love it and want to wear them all the time. Wonder if I can get the dog to wear one also?

This is such a cute pattern, I can't wait to make a bunch of these in different colors for all the kids to wear in the family Christmas photo! These seem quite easy to make, so I can't wait to attempt these once the holidays are here!
