Tricia108 I was glad to see that you agree with the "easy" designation on this pattern! I really like the appearance of this artisan's website. It seems they have a teaching mindset. Nice hot links where I need them and even though I've never done the post stitch that this pattern calls for with this artisan's instruction I'm up to adding another stitch to my repertoire! This looks like a great hat for the guys except that I would make it brown and gray and maybe throw in a little black to more resemble a camouflage pattern. Uses basic crochet stitches and looks very easy and quick to make. A great idea for some Christmas presents this year.

This hat is perfect! Fast to crochet and a good stash buster when you don't have enough of one color. The rim is a good touch since it adds to the hat. Good for a beginner learning different stitches and not difficult.
