Accidental Crochet Beanie
The Accidental Crochet Beanie was designed completely by mistake. Pia Thadani was working on a blanket square and missed all the increases and ended up as a small bulky beanie instead. She adjusted some things and it turned out to be this easy crochet hat pattern. Sometimes accidents happen and then you get something fantastic out of it. You can change the size of this beanie to fit babies, children, and adults and also change the height and ribbing if need be. It's simply a happy accident!

This is a very interesting pattern for the Accidental Crochet Beanie. I am so going to try to make one or more if the pattern comes out. I do like the fact there the pattern is written for different sizes, taking the guess work out of it. I need a great beanie for my youngest and oldest grand daughters. This one will be great for both of them. Looking forward to see if my crochet skills are up to power for this.. Thank you for sharing this free crochet pattern.

Mistake or not, this is a lovely idea and not hard at all. I want to make it in different sizes to send to my family in the cold states. I am in Florida so it really wouldn't work down here. But I do like making and sending them things that won't break in transit and are not postage expensive. Thank you for sharing this one.
