This strikes me as a rather masculine looking Granny Square. When I read that the colors were supposed to represent a town in Maine, I missed the deep greens of the forest. Even if youre not interested in working this particular square, click on the link anyway. The resulting page is host to a number of delightful grannies. I bookmarked the page just so I can explore later.

Thanks for the wonder pattern. I was able to download both formats with no problem. Thanks again :)

For those that couldn't download the directions... I clicked on the html version rather than the pdf (which didn't work for me either), then I just copied and pasted into a word doc and printed that. Took about 30 seconds all told. :-) Just thought I'd share the work-around.

Why would anyone post that the colors are ugly ? Your city flag must be very ornate.

How do I get a printed copy of this pattern?????

If you mean a printed copy on paper, I can send one to you but I do have to ask for printing and shipping costs. Since it is a free pattern, $1.50 should be enough to cover it. You can go to my web site, jpfun.com, scroll to the very bottom of any page and click on the Contact Us link to get further instructions. I will email you back with what to do next. I may add an order paper copy link on the site but it is not there yet.

How do I get a printed copy of this pattern When I go to the site I have to use their download system which doesn't work

I am the designer of the pattern. There are 2 links on the pattern page to download the pattern. One is for a PDF file, which for which you need a pdf reader to open it and the other link is for a web page or HTML version. Both links do work.

I like the design, the colors need a little help.

I am the designer of the pattern and I used the colors that are on the town's flag. Of course you can use what ever colors you want.

The colors are pretty ugly together.

I am the designer and I like the colors together but of course everyone has different taste.
