This is a handy little project to use up your bag of scraps. The designer also suggests experimenting with different sizes of hooks to alter the size of the eggs. These would be fun with a bright or pastel variegated yarnjust be sure to get the short color span rather than the longer. These would make great bases for critter eyes, too!

This is great. They are small, cute, easy and fast to make. I want to make a bunch to add to my grandkids Easter stash. I am going to tape a small chocolate egg to the backs of some. I made a small apron for my grand daughters doll and want to put these around the border. I have so much left over yarn to use.thanks for a great pattern !
