Multi-Use Kitchen Cloths
These Multi-Use Kitchen Cloths can be used for just about anything. Use them as dishcloths, trivets or even coasters. Each of the crochet patterns provide a different stitch for edging options. The color combinations are gorgeous, but of course you can choose any colors you wish.

This is an awesome tutorial! I love that you use the same base and add a different edging to make all the different looking dish cloths, or trivets, or coasters. The possibilities are endless with all these patterns, and all the different colors available! You could make a bunch of different ones to give as gifts, and not one would have to be the same.

These are fantastic! I'm imagining them in an all white kitchen! They would indeed become the eye popping art in the room! The variations that are possible blow my mind...between the color combinations and the combinations of stitch edgings! I love the fact that they're labeled as "easy" too. This would also be the perfect stash buster as well!!!

This is a clever way to take a basic project, and just by adding different borders, give each a unique look. The colors are wonderful, too. The designer calls these kitchen cloths, but I probably would use them as coasters instead. Using a consistent color scheme but altering the borders would make a very nice hostess gift. Since these are quick to work up and inexpensive to boot, they would be great for bazaars, too.

I made these recently as a quick last minute gift that I needed for a hostess gift. Got a last minute invite to a dinner at a friends house and didnt want to show up empty handed. These worked up quickly with some left over yarns that I had, and they were a big hit at the party.
