Summer Lace Crochet Wrap Pattern

For those cool nights when you don't need a coat or sweater, you'll want to grab this Summer Lace Crochet Wrap Pattern. It'll keep the breeze at bay and you'll look gorgeous in it as well. The lace pattern makes the design interesting, but the pattern really is very easy to work up. You can wear it over a nice dress or even over a casual outfit to make you look more classy. We love the rosy color, but feel free to change the color of yarn to something that will fit into your wardrobe better.

This pattern is absolutely stunning! I would like to extend my own wardrobe with this one. You know I just got invited to an early summer wedding and I think this would be the perfect wrap to top off my white sheath. It's open and airy...absolutely tailor-made for a romantic summer evening wedding! The artist was also very kind to show some versatile ways of wearing it.

Surely the application of the roses is really what makes this wrap beautiful. The blue is beautiful but when I think of roses, I see red. I am aware that roses do come in several colors but I have yet to see one in blue myself.

Ive worked projects with the Crossed Stitch and even the Double Crossed Stitch, but this is a different take entirely. Instead of both layers being crossed, theres only one cross stitch worked over two Double Crochets. Very pretty. Ill have to remember it for other projects, too. I love how the body of the wrap is worked along the width to give the appearance of Broomstick Lace. The border is worked lengthwise and actually widens the finished piece.

Tried to print the Summer Wrap patter and it came out terrible -- tiny tiny print, over laps of print -- could not get a good read of directions. HELP

Hi MLeibs, When you click the link above you are leaving AllFreeCrochet to go to the blogger's website who designed the pattern. Because it's not our website, we unfortunantly cannot help you with your printing issues. I would suggest you leave a comment on the designer's site to see if she has any tips for printing. :) Good luck! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

Wow I love the look of this Summer Lace Crochet Wrap! The written pattern is written and easy to understand. I can see this one is a soft blue color or a purple! Oh heck why not make a few of them? I like doing the X stitch that is so easy to make. I can't wait to make this one! Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

With daily temperatures of 30deg C and above it is hard to remember that here in South Africa we are officially in Fall. This Summer Lace Wrap pattern is absolutely gorgeous and is going to be perfect to ward off the cooler evening air once our Fall weather actually does begin. The open work design is so pretty and the overall effect, to me, is light and elegant. Can not wait to wear it!

As a resident that lives off the coast of North Carolina, there are many spring and summer nights that an article of clothing like this is welcoming. My husband and I often take strolls along the Atlantic and I always have on hand a wrap to bring with me to ward off the chill in the air. This Summer Lace Crochet Wrap Pattern is beautiful.

A very elegant looking summer wrap. Would be perfect for a night out at a beach side restaurant. Patterns that work up quickly and easily are always welcome in my collection. This wrap is very versatile in that it can be worn in many different ways depending on your outfit for the evening or on the occasion or location.

This is to Hippie Chick My email to you disappeared, don't know if it went out to you. I think it did. I am not going to repeat it, no patience. Just wanted you to see the shawl I'm working on now. Still have lots of white to do. Wish you could see the detail, it's all ridges and popcorns. It's really gorgeous, I didn't make up the pattern so I can say that. Take care! Tali

I see that the first email did not go through. All I said was that out of the millions and millions of emails by crocheters and knitters that go out everywhere on line, I have run into your name many times. As a child of the sixties myself, whether you are or not, we really have similar tastes. I saw this pattern about a year ago, and I loved it so much, that tho I couldn't print it, I wrote it out into my patterns notebook. When I finish the shawl I am working on now, this just might be my next project. So then I sent on a pic of the shawl I've been working on. I just wanted you to see it because I've been working on it for MONTHS and I'm really excited about it. Hopefully the pic will go through. Tali
