Any suggestions on edging hexagonal granny squares? It looks funny leaving an uneven edge.

I like a modified version of the 2nd method but I like the first method too. never liked sewing the squares together for the same reason... inconsistency.

I prefer method 1 that't the one I have been using, I have tried method 3 but I prefer the look on method 1 when people see my finished product they say it looks fabulous.

I have made a few hundred afghans and find sewing my granny squares looks best . lately I wish I could glue them together

I like to join my granny squares by placing right sides together and slip stitching the squares together using only the back loop of the squares. Make rows and slip stitch the rows together the same way. This method gives the right side a nice smooth look.

Very helpful! I've used method 3 successfully but want to try method 1 next time & see if I like the look.
