This necklace is very chic and feminine. Crocheted black makes it a little formal to me. I would like to make it in another color as well as black maybe even in pastels. The skill level is intermediate so I am just a little leary to try it.

It was way too early to think about making these for my future grandbabies but I know I will keep these in my virtual pattern box for when the time comes. My Mother crocheted a baby afghan for my first born and I plan on passing it down. This will be a beautiful addition to that gift.

the above remark was for another post - following is what I meant to provide for this pattern - I know just the dress to make this collar for. The dress I am thinking about has been in my wardrobe for a while and the addition of this little lace beauty will give it a whole new dimension. Thank you for the wonderful free pattern.
