I remember making paper versions of these for classroom Valentines in elementary school. This project is so easy because the bulk of it is a flat square. If one is youre thinking about a candy pouch, it would be so cute to include heart shaped buttons instead of the big wooden one. You could also decorate the pouch with some crocheted heart appliqus.

Actually, I think that I can make it a little longer, weave a ribbon or wire across the fold area and use it to hold my bills/mail or other items in. Many ideas running thru my mind on this one.
