This is honestly one of my favorite flower patterns.I love the dimension it has. It has such a realistic look to it because of the over lapping petals and the center stitching detail. It is the perfect embellishment for a sun hat or a little summer dress, or even for a cute purse.

This gorgeous blossom reminds me so much of all the flowers that grew wild at my childhood home in Bermuda. I dont remember all the names, but this flower reminds me most of a hibiscus. The basic flower is very simple to work up, but its the center detail that really sets it off. These would be so nice on just about any other project you can think of. Ill have to explore this designers site to see if shes included any leaves as well.

I love these Tropical Flower Crochet Patterns. There are a few on her page and they are so easy to whip up for a beautiful accent piece for hats or scarfs. I love the colors and the flowers don't take a lot of yarn so you can make many. I like the idea below saying to make a headband with this flower, I'll have to try that one. Thanks for the idea. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.
