It seems that these flowers are doing double duty, both as an adornment for a headband, and as the coasters we see here. Can I say that this is really an ingenious idea?! Never occurred to me. It's kind of a funny gift idea, too. Package them in sets of two to sell at your craft fairs. They really look like pansies in my opinion, in the colors shown above.

What a clever idea to make coasters for your cars cup holders! I never would have thought of that, and yes, were guilty of stuffing napkins inside to soak up spills. These flowers are just gorgeous, easy to make, and I love the bonus headband the designer has included. Great scrapbuster, too, as you only need a little bit of yarn for each flower.

I have made 4 of these, but lost the pattern AND forgot who the designer was. I was overjoyed to find this post! I "clicked here" for the pattern, and was taken to the blog page for the flowers, but there appears to be NO PATTERN there. The highlighted words we are directed to click for the flower cup-holder liner pattern brought me to a full-screen pic of the flowers in the cup holder.. But no pattern. I even clicked the photo. I tried everything. I know the pattern existed at one point, or I'd never have been able to make the four flowers I have finished. Its a 5 star pattern! Absolutely! But, where IS it now? Fingers crossed!
