I'm confused like HippieChick. Row 3 says to dc IN each sc...do you really mean in each ch space BETWEEN the sc's?

I think this is the simplest baby blanket design I've ever seen. It looks like they're all double crochets which is easy to do. You just have to make the blanket wider or longer according to your preference. You can make a lot of colors with this. Baby blue, light green, light yellow, or a combination of colors.

Such a sweet and feminine baby blanket that would work just as great for your little fur babies, too. It is always recommended to put a blanket over your seats when you travel with your pets, isn't it? Thank you for giving us a super easy blanket pattern suitable for beginners. As a beginner, the worst thing is being frustrated at a pattern that is too difficult!

I feel that the pattern is going to drift slightly and end up with the edges not being square to each other because of the dc going into the sc so that the dc from alternate rows dont seem to line up directly on top of each other. Did anyone experience this or am I doing something wrong in the stitches?

This is perfect for beginners or us old time pros when we want something mindless to work on while watching tv. You can use the pattern for place mats, table runners or even pillow covers. If you want to embellish them go ahead. I can find so many uses for this. Thank you.

Such a wonderful pattern - especially so for a beginner!! http//freecrochetpattern.weebly.com
