Im just amazed how much this project looks like a pieced quilt. I learned to quilt in my teens and although I dont do it anymore, I still appreciate the hard work that goes into making one. Working one in crochet is MUCH easier than cutting out tiny pieces and hoping that your corners line up. Its a heck of a lot easier to pull out a crocheted row than pick out a stitched one, too!

This Old Maid's Puzzle is so gorgeous, it can pass for a Christmas design afghan. This is perfect when placed on the living room couch.

What a wonderfully creative pattern. I love the shapes and the contrast in colours. The fact that it is Tunisian crochet means it is a denser fabric too. Nice and cozy for those cold winter nights. This is one that is definitely going to be added to my to do list!
