This is a very pretty stitch pattern. Its easy to work as its so repetitive, and once you have the first few rows down, you probably wont even need to refer to the instructions until youre ready to finish it off. This is one project where using a variegated or cake yarn really helps since youll get all the color without having to change yarn.

Yes, I agree. This is one baby blanket perfect to give for baby shower or christening. I'm sure mom and her friends will like it so much. That Lion brand ice cream yarn is perfect for this project. Other color combos would look lovely as well.

So very pretty to look at! Right now I can get the Lion Brand Ice Cream baby yarns on sale at Michaels. They must be coming out with newer, updated colors or something. I did not see this color offered, though. The Lavender Chair always offers a little something for everyone of every skill level. Thanks for offering this pattern.
