A Tweed Blanket
This crochet afghan is made using chunky weight yarn and a J hook. The squares of diamonds and stripes really add to the design of the afghan. Neutral earth tones makes this crocheted afghan the perfect pattern to make for fall. Plus, it will work up quickly because of the bulky weight yarn that's used. You'll love snuggling on the couch with this homemade blanket.

this is a beautiful blanket. The directions were hard to follow. They referred to alt. rows but did not explain what they were. If you follow these directions your diamond will turn out in the right place. The alternate rows mentioned in the pattern are the rows that are not listed,,such as 4,6,8,10,12,14,and 16.These rows are worked the same as row 2. Follow the directions and do these unlisted rows in their turn your diamond will be right.
