I really love the houndstooth design. If I were only a true designer I would use this crochet design and crochet a larger piece like a skirt. I guess now I will need to invest in classes to learn how to design patterns and take it to the next level.

I love this pattern! When I selected the .pdf download option, I saw that there is an additional project that matches this onea pair of hand warmers. Sadly, there doesnt seem to be a link to those, but I will keep looking. Instructions are offered for sizes Toddler through Adult. This project comes from the I Like Crochet CAL series, so you can be assured of quality.

I really like this Houndstooth design. My darling husband has been knick-picking me about not making him any crochet items but he is so hard to please. I think using two shades of a dark color will really make a nice muffler using this Houndstooth design. Now if I could make it on the sly and surprise him.
