This is an interesting design for a coaster. Its double-layered, with a circle of re-purposed plastic inside to give it stability. Im not sure thats entirely necessary, but that would ensure the coaster remains perfectly flat. I dont have any coffee lids laying around, so Im wondering if a circle of plastic canvas might work. Wouldnt have to cut it as it comes in rounds already.
