While this project might get ignored by more experienced crocheters, this is perfect for true beginners since it only requires a chain stitch. Ive had my seniors and grandchildren practice chains, but its nice to actually have something to show for your efforts. Very easy to keep track of all the bells, too, since theyre strung on the yarn before you even begin.

OK, this pattern couldn't be simpler! Crochet chain stitches and jingle bells are all you need! You can use solid colors or even variegated colors. Crochet shorter strands and tie around your door handles so bells will jingle every time the door is opened and shut. This could also be a quick, last minute Christmas project.

Super easy, super cute. My grand daughter will be so proud and happy to put this on my tree. She makes something for it every year and this year will show her budding crochet skills. Plus, as a bonus extra, the bells will serve as an alarm to notify me of when the cat is messing with the tree.

This only uses the chain stitch so it is an excellent starter project, especially for kids.
