Snowflakes are winter's best accessory. If you want to find a way to incorporate these glittery and light flakes into every day life, work up a Crochet Snowflake Hair Clip or two, and every day will be a snow day. This simple little snowflake looks great on a hair clip, but dont limit your creativity to just that. Depending on what yarn and hook you use, you can vary the size of the flake and make an entire flurry of them. They look nice in white, but this might be a time to try out some of that glittery yarn since the entire project requires so little. The pattern is available as a .pdf as well.

Sometimes all you need is a little inspiration. I have a zillion alligator clips but I use them for something totally different. Needless to say, none of them are lined but some of them soon will be. Needless to say, one of them will have a snowflake attached to it as well.

I have seen a few crochet snowflake patterns but this is the first one that I have seen where it was made into a hair clip. This is an easy way to add a little festivity to the day. I will be on the look out for other little holiday crochet items that I can make into little hair clips.

This sweet little snowflake works up quickly, and if you're in a mind to do it, start making them now and you could string them up and make them into a garland to hang on your Christmas tree! I might suggest looking for some sparkly white yarn. It would look gorgeous in the dark among the lights.
