Yes, yes, it is a coaster, but it is more than that. It is 1/12th of a holiday garland for your tree or mantle, it is an applique for a sweatshirt that you have repurposed, it is an applique for an existing table runner,it is an ornament, and it is a gift topper! yay! Really liking that surface crochet, too!

Take this pattern, leave the bottom stump off and do the top few rows in white yarn and the rest in Orange yarn and you will have a piece of candy corn. Then you could tie a bunch together and you will have made a banner of candy corn for a Halloween decoration.
