This is such a clever idea. Instead of using expensive variegated yarn, the author uses two strands of yarn together to achieve the same effect. I make a lot of childrens hats, so Im always looking for interesting appliqus to make my hats stand out from the ordinary. These would be adorable dancing around the brim or bunched together in a group. Might look cute with some little faces, too.

Someone was really thinking when they came up with these. I have a perfect place for them. The stair case railing in my boyfriends home. He has tried garland with lights and ornaments but every year they get knocked off and broken. This would solve that problem. No more broken pieces of ornaments to clean up. And they are so cute. Thanks for sharing.
