This baby Santa Claus hat is simply darling! It looks more like a hat for a baby girl than a baby boy, but if you want to make it for a boy, it would be a great gift. You could also make it with only one pom pom at the top of the hat. That would be super cute as well.

This is adorable, but unless youre using it as a photo prop, its not really functional as a hat. However the designer offers this hat in three different sizes, and once you download or print off the instructions, you can readily see how easy it is to expand to any size youd like. I think it uses more yarn making the poms than the hat itself so you can get several beanies out of a skein.
