Sweet Candy Sprinkles Blanket

search

Even if you know how to crochet a blanket, this one might be new for you. It uses the block stitch, also known as the box stitch. This Sweet Candy Sprinkles Blanket isn't your typical granny square, but it has less "holes" than the original granny. This baby crochet afghan uses the continuous join to put the squares together. Finished blanket measures 37 X 48 inches. Baby yarn makes this beauty soft, yet warm for baby to enjoy.

This designer might just convince me to try Join As You Go. She was also hesitant but decided to give it a try. Now she says she wont go back and provides link to the JAYG techniques. I love the Block variation on the usual Granny, so I might have to break down and give this a try. This blanket is just too beautiful to pass it up.

This Sweet Candy Sprinkles Blanket is absolutely sheer deliciousness! I love the combination of colors and I can always change it up for other uses! It could also be the perfect stash buster. I'm glad it's labeled an "easy" pattern. That means I can always have one going and pop back and forth between it and other projects I have going on at the same time. The directions have nice pictures and seem to be well written. I love that it's joined as you go and that part is not left until the end. Somehow joining it all at the end seems to take the joy out of finishing the task. This will be better!

This Sweet Candy Sprinkles Blanket is perfect for a new baby boy or baby girl. Compared to other granny squares, the squares here are not so tedious to make as the stitches used look like they're mostly double crochets but with a lot of color changes in one square. This is exciting to make because you can make use of your talent in combining colors of your preference. Your teenage daughter will also probably like this for her bed.

I had no problem getting the pattern at all. I was thinking if I have enough yarn left over it would be very nice to make a couple separTe squares to put not frames for wall decorations in the baby's room where the blanket will be used. Instant cozy baby's room!

I too would like to get this pattern. Not rated could you please send me the pattern to my email address

Ideal Delusions is my blog. If you cannot get the pattern you want : Go to the bottom of the page, right side, choose my profile, select "email me" and request the pattern you want. I will reply with a PDF file of the pattern. You do not have to give your name or location and I do not store email addresses.

Hi All, We're so sorry you're having difficulty getting to the pattern. It seems to be working on our end. Please email customer.service@primecp.com and we can then provide you with the full pattern Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience. Christine, Editorial Community Manager AllFreeCrochet.com

Bridge H, There is no pattern or link to get to a pattern when I click on "click here for crochet pattern". All that comes up is the header of the designer's page. Is there any way if you can get to the pattern that you can post it for us? I know alot of us want it!!!

Hi everyone! If you click on 'Click here for crochet pattern' you should be taken to the project on Ideal Delusions. The designer provides a link to the pattern's stitch (Box Stitch) and then discusses how she created the blanket. Hope this helps. Happy crocheting! editors of AllFreeCrochet

I agree you should be taken to the project but all that happens for me is I'm sent to Ideal Delusions and get a blank page with just the header "Ideal Delusions". No pattern, no discussion, etc.
