The written pattern for the watermelon bookmark also includes a video tutuorial that shows you the materials you need, explains step by step how to make the bookmark and also shows you how to make the tassel. I find it easier to follow along with the video instead of having to read the pattern. So easy.

This is too cute. I really like it. I sometimes put something like this in greeting cards that I send out. It's easy, well written and doesn't take much to make. Plus if you change colors you can use this same pattern to make a rain bow. Thank you so much for sharing this idea.

This pattern was a real delight! Not only are the instructions well written, but the designer has provided plenty of photos to help the reader with the finer points. Theres also an instructional video if thats your preferred learning method. This pattern got me thinking about what other fruits might go well with this design. Wouldnt a pineapple be interesting? The designer posted links to her other bookmarks, too.
