Textures Crochet Top Pattern
Treat yourself to the Textures Crochet Top! This free crochet pattern is worked up using just 2.5 skeins of Lion Brand's latest yarn, Textures. This lightweight crochet top features short sleeves and a lacy design, which makes it the perfect pattern to crochet for spring and summer.
Textures yarn is a great variegated yarn, so no matter what colorway you choose, you are sure to get a gorgeous looking top full of various colors. This particular crochet top is a size small-medium and will fit a 37" bust.

- Ch 2 does not count as a st
- The first dc of every row will be placed in the same space as the ch 2
- Sleeves will be labeled as worn
SPECIAL STITCHES
Fdc: foundation double crochet Chain 4 (counts as the first fdc). Yarn over and insert hook in 4th chain from hook. *Yarn over and pull up loop (3 loops on hook), yarn over and pull through 1 loop creating a chain st, (this is an important step but easy to forget). Yarn over again and pull through first two loops on hook (two loops remaining). Yarn over again and pull through last two loops on hook. This completes the second fdc (remember your ch4 counted as the first fdc). To stitch the next fdc, yarn over and insert the hook into the chain made in the 2nd fdc and repeat from *
dc2tog: double crochet two together yarn over (YO), insert hook into first st, YO and draw up a loop, (three loops on hook), YO and pull through first two loops (two loops remaining on hook), YO, insert hook in next st, YO and draw up a loop (four loops on hook), YO, pull through first two loops on hook, YO and pull through remaining three loops.

Rows 2-5: Ch 2, turn, dc in every st across – 56 dc
Right Sleeve
Row 6: Ch 2, turn, dc in each of the next 21 sts, leave remaining sts unworked – 21 dc
Row 7: Ch 2, turn, dc2tog, dc in each remaining st across – 20 dc
Rows 8-11: Ch 2, turn, dc in every st across – 20 dc
Fasten off
Left Sleeve
Turn so that WS is facing and sleeve just worked is on your right
Row 12: Skip 14 sts, leaving them unworked, join yarn with sl st in the next st, ch 2, dc in each remaining st across – 21 dc
Row 13: Ch 2, turn, dc across until 2 sts remain, dc2tog in the remaining 2 sts – 20 dc
Rows 14-17: Ch 2, turn, dc in every st across– 20 dc
Fasten off

Turn piece upside down with WS facing
Next Row: Skip 10 sts, leaving them unworked, join yarn with sl st in the next st, ch 2, dc in each of the next 36 sts, leaving the remaining 10 sts unworked – 36 dc
Next 4 Rows: Repeat last row
Next 7 Rows: Change to CC and repeat last row
