"I hope you’re ready for the SMALLEST size of the It’s Shawl Good cardigan! This is the 12 – 18 month size, and would probably work just fine on a 9 month old as well. These cardigans are intended to span multiple sizes. Add or remove length as desired; the armhole openings should fit all children within each respective size range. *Thin cotton is suggested, such as Sugarwheel cotton cakes, Caron cotton cakes, or Bernat Baby Cotton. Note! Lightweight acrylic CAN be used – like Lion Brand Cupcake, or other lightweight “cake” yarns but the drape may not be as nice as the “weightier” lightweight/size 3 yarns listed above."
