Sleeveless Crochet Sweater
"Beautiful dyed yarn was used to create this easy sweater. The stitches used are very basic and the instructions are easy to follow. This elegant piece looks great when paired with jeans or pants. Suitable for Spring and Autumn season as it is without sleeves but you can add sleeves to it to make it a winter pullover. You can wear it on its own or over a T-shirt if you prefer. Terms:
- Ch: chains
- hdc: half double crochet
- dc: double crochet
- blo: back loop only
Starting Front side:

Foundation chain 89 ( For a longer top, add to the chains)

R1: hdc in 3rd ch from the hook, make 27 hdc, dc in the next 60 chains. Ch 3 and turn your work.

R2: Ch 3 is considered as the 1st dc, make 59 dc in blo, 27 hdc in blo. ch 2 and turn your work.

R3: ch 2 does not count, make 27 hdc in blo, 60 dc in blo, ch 3 and turn your work.

R4- R7: repeat R 2 and 3

R8: Ch 3 is the 1st dc, make 59 dc in blo, 19 hdc in blo ( leave remaining stitch undone). ch 2 and turn your work.

R9-R30: repeat R8

R31: At the end of R 30 make 10 ch ( this is for the other shoulder strap) make hdc in 3rd ch from the hook make 27 hdc in blo, 60 dc in blo, ch 3 and turn your work.

Fasten off
Back side:
Follow R1-3 and repeat R2-3 until total 37 Rows are complete ( no need for neck shapping on the back side)
Make turtle neck/cowl:

Ch 27

R1: Hdc in 2nd ch from hook make 24 more hdc (total 25 hdc)
chain 2 and turn your work -
R2: Hdc in blo in each stitch ( 25 hdc)

R3: repeat until it is equal to the neck gap nearly 27 rows
do not join
Assembly
Joining the front and back sides. Facing right sides together, join shoulder seams, leave 37 stitches for arm hole and join the remaining sides together, if joining by hook slip stitch both side together, if using yarn needle join each stitch by going in from one side and out the other.
Turn the sweater inside out. Right side on the outside.
Join the turtle neck place the turtle neck on the sweater and join round the neck from the inside. The side of the turtle neck is still open. Once the base is joined, join the side of the turtle neck from the outside. once attached fold the neck outwards and this will hide the seams under it. Weave in ends and Sweater is ready.
