Light Ribbon Scarf

- RED HEART® Soft: 1 ball 9440 Light Grey Heather A
- RED HEART® Boutique™ Sashay™: 1 ball 1946 Ballet B
- Crochet Hook: 5mm [US H-8]
- 2 yds grosgrain ribbon, 1½” wide
- Yarn needle

One size fits most. Scarf measures 60” long

Gauge is not critical for this project
SCARF
With 2 strands of A held together and leaving a long tail, sew a line of running stitches down the center of ribbon length. Each stitch should be ½” on right side of ribbon and ¼” on wrong side.
Cut A, leaving a long tail.
Pull open ribbon width of B in order to work into center of yarn. With right side facing and working into center of yarn, join B in first ½” loop of A and work 3 sc in loop, work 3 sc in each loop across.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Pull ends of A to gather gross-grain ribbon and adjust gathers evenly along length. Trim ends of ribbon and yarn, leaving 5” of yarn at each end.
