Full Skein Scarf
"This “Full Skein Scarf” is just that; a pattern for a scarf that uses every bit of yardage out of one skein of yarn. For this pattern you can follow exactly as written OR use your kitchen scale to weigh the yarn as you go, making sure you use as much of the skein as possible. It is possible to hold two strands of fingering weight yarn together, or to use one DK weight hank that is at least 436 yards. Of course, you can use this pattern with any size yarn and corresponding hook size, but yardage will vary."
